Biography

Jan Gulfoss is an artist whose passion for nature and animals continues to express itself through his work.
His artistic work is a range of talents, oscillating between drawing, painting, photography, and video.
Born between Iceland and Bhutan, as he likes to say, he begins to create from an early age giving life to
his deepest inspirations. His training at the very famous Villa Arson in Nice reinforced his know-how.
Since then he puts his talent at the service of the preservation and protection of animals. His artistic
universe exudes an atmosphere of calm and harmony, a serenity that could be described as contemplative.
The predominance of animals in his work does not leave anyone indifferent, suggesting a reverence for them,
as if his art were a tribute to the beauty of nature. However, one can't help but wonder if this is a calm world
after a disaster, or the silence before the storm. Gulfoss has recently innovated in its way of creating by offering
sound and light shows, which project its videos into the nature of the Amazonian forest, the glaciers of Antarctica,
on rocks, monuments and even under the sea. is to sublimate the beauty and nobility of animals, thus offering
the public an immersive and emotional experience. Gulfoss is a one-of-a-kind artist whose work invites
contemplation and wonder.
